On Dec. 8, our 2019 Alternative Christmas Market came to a close. We had almost 200 visitors for our nativity display and our Alternative Market. At the market we sold over $700 of Equal Exchange fair trade food; $1600 of SERRV fair trade handicrafts from all over the world and over $630 went to Heifer Project International. It was another successful event as we sought to represent a vision of Christmas where the Christmas story is truly seen as love made real in caring for neighbor and acts of justice.
